Requirements, evidence and gaps
A quality system is judged by its ability to demonstrate every requirement. Kanriq links the requirements of your standards to the documents and records that cover them.
The requirements–evidence graph
Section titled “The requirements–evidence graph”Each requirement is linked to the processes, procedures and records that cover it. From a document, you see the requirements it supports; from a requirement, the evidence that demonstrates it.
Reading the gap analysis
Section titled “Reading the gap analysis”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Covered | Evidence in force demonstrates the requirement; the relevant passage is cited. |
| Partial | Evidence exists but does not cover the full scope of the requirement. |
| Missing | No evidence found in the documents in force. |
The analysis updates when a document changes: it does not wait for audit preparation.
Alerts
Section titled “Alerts”Missing evidence, a document due for review, or a cited reference that no longer matches any document triggers an alert to the person responsible, with a link to the item to fix.
